HTTP Client - Send & Get - Terms of Service
Effective Date: 2026-05-31.
Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using HTTP Client - Send & Get ("the App"), these terms
automatically apply to the User. The User should ensure they read these
terms carefully before using the App.
Proper Use and Safety
The App is a HTTP Client - Send & Get. It can be used to send and received
messages to and from the HTTP Server respectively. It is designed for
engineers, technical hobbyists, and HTTP network testers. The App allows
users to send messages or Payloads to the HTTP Server. And the Server will
act as per the messages or Payloads sent by this App. The Server can also
send back messages or Payloads, which can be displayed in the App. The
HTTP Server can be hosted online or on a local machine (such as a PC). We
do not host these servers, nor do we have access to the messages or
Payloads exchanged during these communications. The User is solely
responsible for:
-
The configuration of the HTTP servers.
-
The communication with the HTTP servers.
-
Ensuring that the messages or commands sent via the App are safe
for any kind of connected devices or hardware to the network.
-
The security of the User's own network and server infrastructure.
Network Security Note: The App supports both http://
(unencrypted) and https:// (encrypted) connections. Additional encryptions
are not implemented in the App. It is strongly recommended to use https://
(encrypted). http:// (unencrypted) must be used only inside Local Network,
not for Cloud or Public Networks. If neither http:// nor https:// is
provided (e.g., www.example.com) in the Server address field, the App will
automatically prepend https:// to the Server address. The final Server
address will resolve to https://www.example.com. The selection and
configuration of the Network and WebSocket Servers used with the App are
entirely the responsibility of the User. The Developer is not liable for
any interception of messages, payloads, data, or commands resulting from
the User’s choice to use http:// (unencrypted / Plaintext) communication.
Furthermore, while the App attempts to provide secure encryption while
using https://, the Developer provides no guarantee of absolute security.
Encryption may fail due to configuration errors, server-side issues, or
unknown vulnerabilities. The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS
AVAILABLE" basis, and the User acknowledges that even with the https://
used, no data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed as 100%
encrypted or secure. By using the App, the User assumes all associated
risks.
Local Storage Note: The App stores User settings and
entered data—including but not limited to the HTTP Server address, request
method, request headers, request parameters, and request messages,
payloads, or bodies—directly on the User's device and does not transmit
this information to external servers. Consequently, Users are entirely
responsible for maintaining the security of their own devices through
passwords, biometrics, or other protective measures. Although the App
utilizes strong encryption to safeguard sensitive data locally, the
Developer cannot be held responsible or liable if a device is physically
stolen, lost, or compromised by digital hacks. Furthermore, because the
Developer does not maintain backups of User data on external servers, the
User acknowledges that deleting the App, clearing its data, or clearing
its cache will permanently erase all information, and such data cannot be
recovered by the Developer. Finally, the User warrants having the proper
rights and permissions for any server addresses or data entered into the
App, and agrees not to utilize the App for unauthorized or malicious
testing.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Developer shall not be liable
for any damages arising out of the use or inability to use the App. This
includes, but is not limited to:
-
Hardware Damage: Any malfunctions of appliances,
electronics, or any equipment controlled via the App.
-
Data Loss: Any loss of data or connection issues
with a chosen HTTP Server.
-
Safety Hazards: Any incidents resulting from
automated or manual messages or commands triggered through the
App.
No Warranty
The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. The Developer
makes no warranties that the App will be error-free, that the connection to
the HTTP Server will be uninterrupted, or that the App will meet specific
hardware requirements.
Intellectual Property
The App, including its code, design, and original assets, remains the
exclusive property of the Developer. The User may not attempt to extract the
source code or translate the App into other languages without prior
permission.
Third-Party Resources
The App uses open-source software packages. Each of these is governed by its
own specific license. You can view the full list of these software packages
and their license agreements in the 'Licenses' section of the App.
Changes to the App
The Developer reserves the right to make changes to the App or to modify
services at any time.
